ABOUT DEEP
Many ask us what the meaning of “DEEP” is. The meaning of deep goes back in the Indian traditions, where people made a small cup shaped oil lamps of baked clay, also called Diya. This lamp is most popular in the biggest festival in India known as Diwali festival. This festival is called the festival of lights, where Indians houses are lighten up by this lamp, which symbolize hope, bright future and happiness. We wanted to give our restaurant a meaningful name, which should symbolize the Indian traditions and culture. Therefore we choose to call the restaurant “DEEP”.
